FAQ & Information About the Church Membership

Why is it important to join the church? Can I just come and be a part of weekly services?

At Las Vegas Present Truth, we agree that it is important for all who are not members to come and be a part of our weekly services regularly before you consider joining the church. This offers you an opportunity to experience firsthand what our passion and values are as a congregation. However, once you find that the ministry here is indeed what God wants you to be a part of on a regular basis, it is important that you join our family. God's intent is for every person to be a part of a church family as spiratual growth in our relationships with Him and others. He provided the church to allow support and spiritual protection for all. Hebrews 10:25 states that we should "not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but [that we should] encourage one another" faithfully. It is crucial to your future spiritual growth that you make a true commitment to the body of believers who have spiritual values & morals similar to yours.

What if I would like to find out more about the church before I join?

We strongly believe that it’s very important for you to have the most information possible regarding our church family before you commit to becoming a member. We are so committed to this that we ask you to attend a membership class before you make your decision. This monthly class is called Present Truth Bible Lessons. It is taught by our staff Pastors and by attending you will learn a wealth of information about our church's passion, history, and vision. These lessons are a prerequisite for church membership and are offered once a month. Call us to find out available dates and times.

To learn more about joining, do I have to "walk the aisle" in front of the congregation?

No. At Las Vegas Present Truth, we understand that many people may be uncomfortable in large crowds. As a solution, we try to do everything possible in joining our church, "stress free". To help reduce some of the stress, we have developed a Hospitality Room, which is located adjacent to the main stage in our worship center. Simply stop by our Hospitality Room after the service and tell one of our pastors that you would like more information about joining the Las Vegas Present Truth Church. Afterward, we will team you up with one of our members who will help explain the steps of the membership process.
